The Economist Group’s new flagship healthcare event, The Global Healthcare Summit saw 250 senior healthcare decision-makers from across the globe debating questions such as these to gain a global perspective on the issues facing healthcare.   

Anne McElvoy, Public Policy Editor, The Economist & Charlotte Howard, Healthcare Correspondent, The Economist chaired the summit, to steer the debate and bring the best out of speakers and panelists.

The World Health Organization ran two panels on the second afternoon of the summit. Zsuzsanna Jakab, Regional Director for Europe, World Health Organization gave the keynote address.
