THE INNOVATION SUMMIT
October 22nd 2010 at The British Library, London
THE THEME
Innovation is crucial to the success of any business. It pushes the boundaries in product development and process, drives the economy and enables organisations to outperform their competitors. The Innovation Summit is an opportunity to meet and hear from people who are innovating now, whose ideas may shape the next generation of businesses. Like the awards, it celebrates the potential of innovation to transform business and society, but it also aims to drive innovation by helping participants to innovate effectively. We start the day with this year's Innovation Award winners, who will be interviewed to share insights into how their achievements were made. Over the course of the day, we will hear from some of the world's most inspiring social and enterprise innovators on how they conceived their ideas and are translating them into organisations that are changing business and society. They will share views, based on their experience, on how we can know which ideas are worth taking a risk on and what kind of innovation is creating the most noteworthy business competitors of the next 5 years.
WHAT WILL THE SUMMIT OFFER YOU?
- A participatory feel with workshops and floor debate
- Crucial insights for business leaders, academics and investors
- A dialogue with this year’s Award winners and The Economist’s Tom Standage
