Werner Vogels, Vice-president and CTO of Amazon and John Linwood, Chief Technology Officer, BBC will join an array of discussion leaders at the CIO Agenda in June this year.

 

Werner Vogels is in charge of technology innovation at Amazon, and is an expert on cloud computing. He has his own blog about distributed systems and is considered to be something of a technology guru.

 

John Linwood, formerly senior Vice-president of International Engineering at Yahoo, is now responsible for delivering the technology strategy, in a role which encompasses the maintenance of the technical infrastructure behind all BBC output, managing the technical aspects of West One and MediaCity UK and overseeing the Corporation's IT requirements.
