New Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change confirmed for The UK Energy Summit - United Kingdom
We are delighted to announce that Chris Huhne, the new Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, will be making a keynote address at The UK Energy Summit on June 24th at The Dorchester, London.
He will outline the Government’s plans to develop an affordable, secure and sustainable future and start the day's in-depth discussions allowing attendees to debate and define a vision for the UK's energy sector.
Chaired by Roger Harrabin, Environment Analyst at the BBC, The UK Energy Summit has already confirmed over 100 attendees, with some of the industry's top names confirmed to speak, including:
- Nick Horler, Chief Executive, Scottish Power
- Paul Globy, Chief Executive, E.ON UK
- Sam Laidlaw, Chief Executive, Centrica
- Alistair Buchanan, Group Chief Executive, Ofgem
