Sports leaders to meet at fourth annual summit -United Kingdom

SPORTS LEADERS TO MEET AT FOURTH ANNUAL SUMMIT

Economist Conferences, in association with the National Football League, to stage The Global Sport Summit in London on October 29th

Many of the leading figures in world sport will be in attendance when Economist Conferences, in association with the National Football League (NFL), stages the fourth annual Global Sport Summit at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London, on Friday, October 29.
 
The Global Sport Summit: Transformation – The Rules of Engagement will include among its speakers Sir Trevor Brooking, BBC Head of Sport Barbara Slater, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, and Jianhua ‘Kenny’ Huang, chairman of QSL Sports.

The event is held two days before the NFL’s annual Pepsi Max International Series game at Wembley between the Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers. This year’s Global Sports Summit will run from 9.00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. and will be open to accredited media.
 
Sir Trevor will be joined by Sir Clive Woodward on a panel looking at the balance between commercial and on-field priorities in sport, while Commissioner Goodell and All-England Tennis Club Chief Executive Ian Ritchie will be among those discussing the creation of global sports properties.

The event will be attended by an invite-only audience of influential sports executives. The full line-up of speakers has yet to be completed, but major figures in world sport currently confirmed to speak include:
