Dr Anil Kapur, an internist by training, is Managing Director of the World Diabetes Foundation. He has been associated with the foundation since its inception in 2002, previously serving on its Board as the Vice Chairman.
He has about thirty years of experience in clinical medicine, clinical research, business and public health. He has worked in several capacities in the Pharmaceutical industry. He has been the Managing Director Novo Nordisk India and Vice President Novo Nordisk South Asia.
He has presented numerous lectures on diabetes, in India and abroad as an invited speaker and has successfully organized scores of scientific and advocacy meetings dealing with diabetes.
